Invasive Plant Removal at Assabet Rail Trail in Maynard

Help us remove invasive plants along the Rail Trail!

Knotweed, garlic mustard, and other invasive plants are growing along Maynard’s Rail Trail. These plants crowd out local species, making it harder for local wildlife to find food and shelter and harming the landscapes we love. Join us on July 18 to help remove some of these plants!

  • Rain date: Sunday, July 19

  • Meet at Ice House Landing parking lot

  • Walk-ups welcome, but we encourage you to RSVP at begreenmaynard[at]gmail so we have an idea of head count.

  • Work gloves

  • Bug/tick repellent spray and sunscreen
